To qualify for the Malta Permanent Residency Program by property rental

applicants must meet several requirements:

    • 1.)Property Rental: Rent a property for 5 years (Long Term Lease Agreement)  that meets the minimum annual rental value of €10,000 in Gozo or the southern part of Malta or €12,000 elsewhere in Malta.
    • 2.) Government Contribution: Pay a €58,000 government contribution.
    • 3.)Donation: Make a charitable donation of at least €2,000 to an approved Maltese non-governmental organization.
    • 4.)  Proof 
    • Financial Stability: Proof capital of €500,000 of which €150,000  in liquid financial assets.
    • 5) Administrative Fee: €40,000

Process of Acquiring Malta PR:

  1. Choose a Property: Select a property in Malta to rent. The property must meet the minimum annual rental thresholds: €12,000 per year in the south of Malta or Gozo, and €10,000 per year in other parts of the country.
  2. Submit an Application: Complete and submit your application for the Malta Permanent Residency Program through Hetdynamic. The application must include supporting documents, such as identity proof, financial records, and proof of rental.
  3. Pay the Government Contribution: A non-refundable government contribution of €58,000 is required when applying through the property rental route.

  5. Health Insurance: You must obtain comprehensive health insurance that covers you and your family in Malta.
  6. Background Checks: The Maltese authorities will conduct thorough due diligence checks to ensure that the applicant has a clean criminal record and meets the program’s criteria.
  7. Issue of Residency Card: Once approved, you will receive a Maltese residency card, granting you permanent residency status.
