    2. 12 weeks in person lab and clinics in Newfoundland & Labrador

What’s required before clinical training?

  1. Complete the required medical tests.
  2.  Have the necessary vaccinations.
  3. Ensure all documentation, references, letters, and transcripts are provided in English or have them officially translated into English.

Job Responsibilities of PACS:

  1. Assisting with Personal Care: This includes tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
  2. Mobility Assistance: Helping clients with mobility issues move around, transfer from bed to wheelchair, etc.
  3. Medication Management: Administering medications as per prescribed schedules and guidelines.
  4. Emotional Support: Providing companionship, listening, and engaging in activities to improve mental well-being.
  5. Household Tasks: Performing light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and running errands for clients.
