This program focuses on the most efficient, environmentally friendly production and distribution of a basic element in our daily well-being: energy and its related technologies.

The main themes of the studies are the efficient production and use of energy and environmental friendliness. Your training will be based on three key areas of expertise in energy technology: physical phenomena related to energy technology, such as policies that affect the shape and magnitude of energy; energy conversion from one form to another; and machinery and equipment for energy conversion.

Biorefineries implement a wide range of technologies and materials, and this program examines them with an open mind and a wide scope, including the opportunities they offer in terms of new competencies, solutions, and critical assessments. In this Master’s program, you will specialise in biorefining and related industries in the circular economy.

The Master’s Programme in Biorefineries is delivered as flexible distance learning independent of place or time. It is well suited for people already in the working world in Finland or abroad, aiming for professional development and the upgrading of qualifications. Supply management is a cross-functional activity of a firm, requiring a broad understanding of international business. Your studies will integrate strategic management, international business, and relationship management in supply networks.

In this program, you will focus on supply strategies, global challenges of sourcing, and the development of purchasing and supply chains.
