LUT University (Lappeenranta–Lahti University of Technology LUT) is a pioneering science university in Finland, bringing together the fields of science and business since 1969. We are a community where curious people inspire curious people. The curious dive deep into their passion, and develop their thinking daily. Without curiosity, we cannot change the world. A curious person experiments fails, and succeeds faster than others. We address issues that matter to the world and that others may consider impossible to solve. Our campuses are located in Lappeenranta and Lahti, but our state of mind can be achieved anywhere. Clean energy, water, and air are life-giving resources for which we seek new solutions with our expertise in technology and business. We help society and businesses in their sustainable renewal. We have served as a forerunner – combining technology and business – ever since our inception in 1969. Our international community is comprised of 7,500 students and experts engaged in scientific research and academic education.
LUT University students are a sought-after workforce in the Finnish labor market. So make sure you are visible to our students and on time. Four out of five of our students already have a job when they graduate.
With the help of student jobs, employers get to cooperate with our students already during their studies. At best, the client gets the job done, with fresh ideas and thoughts, and contacts with his future employees with the help of student work.
Regarding student work, however, it should be remembered that they are always primarily learning tasks related to studies and therefore cannot be compared to consulting work done by a professional.
