ISMA has rich traditions and a clear future vision within the common area of European higher education. ISMA students are provided with an opportunity to make their dreams come true by obtaining the required knowledge in the five directions, which are accredited by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Latvia. ISMA successfully ensures continuing development, which nowadays is an advantage in the Latvian and European labor markets while offering competitive education, which combines both theory and practice. At present ISMA offers Latvian and foreign students to study at all levels: first-level professional higher education, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral study programs. Therefore, ISMA provides its students with an opportunity to receive an education that meets their plans, is labor market-oriented, and ensures the development of creative and leadership skills.
Description
ISMA offers students modern and renovated study facilities, a library, advanced technical support for studies, a free parking place, as well as opportunities to enjoy meals in the cafe and relax in the park on campus. After the first year of studies ISMA students can participate in the student mobility programmes and continue studies in prestigious foreign universities. During summer practice students acquire and develop their practical skills in international foreign companies. This is an opportunity to apply the obtained knowledge, learn the world, and, which is also important, to pay tuition fees with the money earned in the summer months.

Internship
Students have the right to choose the place of internship, according to the study program and with the aim of career development.
When choosing the place of internship, students demonstrate initiative, commitment, communicative skills, and courage to make decisions and be self-responsible.
Students who cannot choose the place of internship themselves must contact the Career Centre at least one month before the start of the internship.
During the internship, students fulfill their work duties and collect information according to the Internship tasks.
To register for the internship and correctly prepare the Internship Report students must have all necessary documents that prove the completion of an internship. The documents are certain forms/blanks that must be filled in by the student, the company, in which the internship took place, and the school.
